This week at home I have been doing a lot of drawing and of course home work and I also love listening to music on my iPod. I really do just enjoy sitting and listening to music. Most importantly though I have started reading a new book called the Hunger Games, it is the most amazing book I have ever read. I absoloutly love it.

So this week in literacy I have been working on my narrative, story graph and ricipical reading for our assessment I think that I used my time very well because I almost got everything done and not many people did. To be honest though my story wasn’t that great, normally I really enjoy writing story’s but this week my story wasn’t as descriptive, so I think I could have more effort in there.

For my religion project  I went with jemima and lily we focused on Judaism. Judaism was very interesting because we often see Jewish followers around sometimes but over the past few weeks we have had the chance to find out what their culture believs in and that was really fun. I personally think that our groups time management was not very good at all, mainly because we changed ideas of our presentation three times so that didn’t help. In the end our presentation and information turned out really well and we were all pretty happy with it.

CULTURE

Vietnam has a lot of special temples that you can go and pray in. Vietnam is very cultrul in the way of music and gatherings. Vietnam is also filled with lots of bright colours and music. Vietnam is filled with market stalls and busy streets. Vietnam is not only a tourists destination  but a beautiful place to live. The population of Vietnam in 2011 was marked at 87.84 million.

FOOD

In Vietnam they eat mainly eat of platters. Vietnamese people are actually very healthy because of the food that they eat it is always very green and light types of food.

HOMES

Most people would either live in a brick or mud house, or maybe even a palm held shack. But others they might be able to afford to live in an old city terrace.

SCHOOL

Schools in Vietnam are getting much better in the way of education and even structure. Not every family can afford for putting there’re child through schooling but they defiantly do try.

RELIGION

Religion is a large part that plays at Vietnam there are different religions like…   Buddhism, or christianity, roman Catholicism and so many more.

Hi guys remember me yeah sorry I havnt been on here for ages so thats what i’m going to tell you about today. So a few weeks ago my mum went to Thailand so my grandma looked after me and my sisters and brother. Each day when we came home my grandpa would have a treat for us after school, one day we had a cake and another day we had iced donuts they were sooooo yummy! My mum came home on the Friday and we were all very excited we each got a bag of presents I got a t-shirt and lollies. The next week was back to normal On tuesdays I play netball for the pink pythons and then later on I have dancing. On monday Me and my friend Laura had a great night first I went to her house to do some homework then we watched her brother play basketball and finally we all went out for dinner to the pub. We won so many lollies from the vending machine it was crazy and then the annoying boys came and stole most of them arrrrr! On thursday mum has a party for little kids dancing so I might be dressing up as a baby fairy princess HEHEHE. I can’t wait for the holidays I’m going to the snow yippee .

So we have to write a bit about someone who we think shows the fruits and gifts. I have chosen my mum because I think that she is amazing she is always so KIND and she is so GENEROUS my mum is CARING and LOVING I love my mum for who she is and I believe that she shows all of these gifts and fruits.

So there you have thats my mum!

When I filled in my footprint I realised that because my family is much larger than a lot of other family’s I noticed that we had a bit more rubbish. I found out that it would take 3.3 earths to keep us living the way I do. I realised that on the pie chart food was a big part on it. I think that my family could reduce the amounts of food rappers and rubbish. I have learnt a lot about my family on footprint and I will always keep in mind all this important information!!!!
